She didn’t say a word

She just threw down her purse

Took off her dress

And collapsed onto the bed

Exasperated

 

Her lover walks into the room

With a single rose, strokes her

With the soft tip of the petal

From the back of her neck

Down to her right ankle

 

Startled, yet pleased

She lets out a soft moan

A shiver runs through her whole body

Energy she didn’t know she had

 

Suddenly awoken
